Vault: Cloud Storage, by Cognify Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited
You can delete your Vault cloud, and every file in it, at any time.
Open Vault: Cloud Storage.
Open the Account tab.
Tap Delete my cloud and files.
Type DELETE to confirm.
If you signed in with Google and can't use the app, email info@cognify.ltd from the email address on your Vault account, with the subject "Delete my Vault account". We'll confirm by email and delete your account and all its data, usually within 30 days.
Guest clouds aren't linked to an email address or any other identity, so we can't find a guest cloud from an email request. Please delete a guest cloud in the app. A guest cloud that isn't used for 180 days in a row may be deleted automatically.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your cloud.
In Vault, tap ⋯ next to a file and choose Move to Trash. To delete several files, long-press to select them and tap Delete. You can also tap Delete while viewing a file.
Files in Trash are permanently deleted after 7 days. To delete them straight away, open the Account tab, tap Trash, then Empty Trash.
Permanently deleted files are removed from our servers together with their preview images and file information. Hidden recovery copies are destroyed within 7 days.
Immediately: your account or guest credential, your Google sign-in link and email address. Your sign-in sessions end and you are signed out.
Usually within an hour: all your files, preview images, folders and file information.
Within 7 days: the hidden recovery copies our storage keeps of deleted files.
Within 35 days: any remaining copies in our rolling database backups.
A minimal record that a cloud with a given random identifier was deleted, and when. We keep it so the deletion completes and the cloud is never restored. It contains no email address, name, file names or files.
Crash reports already sent to Google Firebase Crashlytics. They contain no files or account details and are deleted automatically within 90 days.
If you bought a paid plan through Google Play (when available), deleting your cloud doesn't cancel the subscription. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
